Arthroscopic Meniscectomy

Meniscus is important structure of knee joint providing support and uniformly distributing load across the knee joint. Meniscus can get torn even with simple bending and twisting impact on your knee joint. We at Knee Hip Shoulder Clinic provide most advanced treatment based on internationally established guidelines. Preservation of meniscus is our goal but in some cases, torn meniscus cannot be repaired. In such cases, we remove the non reparable portion of meniscus and preserve rest of the meniscus for proper functioning of knee joint. This partial excision of meniscus is termed as partial menisectomy.
